These little units plus a salt lamp has kept me healthy with a drop of pure lemon essential oil at work noone seems to be offended by lemon and different soothing oils at night.
The unit set to intervals last a full nights sleep or day at work and shuts off on it's own when the water gets low. I have been using this diffuser at night to diffuse Lavender oil to help me sleep.
It is so quiet!! My husband loves it too and told me to purchase another one for the living area. The colored lights are nice and muted, but you don't have to use any of them if you don't want to. Overall I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing another one as my husband suggested. This is a great diffuser. I honestly can't compare this to any others cause it's my first but it's easy to use, really pretty looking and has great colors for night time.
Sleep will no longer elude you. The Sandman will stop by early! My first experience with essential oils. I'm currently overseas in a tiny little trailer box, and it smells of despair and bad decisions. I needed something besides the overpowering stench of spray air fresheners.
My sister-in-law has oil diffusers all over her house and she swears by them. So I thought I'd give it a shot. After turning over my man card temporarily, I read the directions to ensure I was doing it correctly.
Within minutes, the smell of sweet orange begins to permeate the air. I then make the virgin idiot's mistake and pull the top off of the diffuser to "see what it does". So I unplug, clean up my mess, stamp out my man card for just a bit longer, and begin again. An hour later, my room is like a spa. All I need is the soft sounds of Kenny G playing and a top-heavy masseuse wearing a top made for a year-old and I would be in frog heaven! So be sure to get in on this, but keep yer damn hands off of it.
The colored lights are nice I could put my lavendar oil in and drift off to dreamland bye-bye man card.
Now, give me back my damn man card. It's much smaller than I expected it to be. We run this at night in our room on the second burst mode, and have to refill the water every night.
It works really well - it starts misting right away and is completely quiet. It's extremely easy to use - I was hesitant about the claim that two buttons would increase usability, but I have had no problems.
I've used the recommended drops even when putting in more than ml and I've found that this is very strong. I'm not sure if it's the oils we got or the recommendation is off, but I would recommend starting out with a single drop of the oil and increasing until you're comfortable. It's really potent, so if you put too much in and can be very uncomfortable.
I'm not sure the point of the LED lights? The way it is assembled and sits, there's no crack that the light would come through, so I don't see the point.
It does look cool when you take the top off to refill, I guess? Overall it's been super easy to use, works really well, and fits nicely on my bedside table.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who is considering trying it out. I reviewed a lot of diffusers before choosing this one. I have used it for about a week and I love it. It is easy to use and very nice to look at. I have used it in several different rooms in my house. I have used both the intermittent mist and the continuous mist and I like them both. I don't use the lights but they are a nice effect if you enjoy a little color. I would defininitely recommend this diffuser and am thinking of getting more so I don't have to move it around my house!
I love all things related to essential oils these days--especially all the cool looking diffusers. I absolutely love the bamboo look because it's "natural" and "spa like".
